Steve Adams, photographer/proprietor
Photographer Steve Adams combines his passions for food, wine and travel in his work.
After a college career spent pursuing fine arts photography, Steve learned the basics of commercial photography while working in a downtown St. Louis photo studio. Steve has worked in his own studio since 1978 providing photography for many accounts including Nestlè Purina, Bacardi, Kraft and Anheuser-Busch.
Steve led the photography section of the International Association of Culinary Professionals, is active in the St. Louis culinary scene, and remains committed to maintaining a high standard of photo excellence in every photo shoot, large or small.
During a stint teaching at the Maine Media Workshops, Steve was quoted as saying “My interest in food photography was fueled by my growing interest in food and wine. By working with many talented food stylists and art directors, I have been able to learn a lot about producing a beautiful photograph of things ranging from a ballpark hot dog to haute cuisine.”
Outside photography, Steve’s volunteer efforts include acting as Habitat Volunteer Coordinator for Habitat St. Louis, and fund-raising for the St. Louis Wishing Well group.
